It's about balance, going towards your main quest and killing stuff along the way, and if your chaos goes up to 2-3 it's not necessarily the end, it's just harder, then chaos generator and puf ! poblem solved.ДЄnd this is the challenge the game is actually throwing at you and it is balanced towards that end. If you spend too many turns passing, or waiting for player 3 to catch up before you tackle that bat swarm, you'll likely fall behind in some minor way, which can add up. It encourages you to get into fights, earn gold, and take risks to make use of the few remaining turns. Chaos means you have to manage your time well. The party-pressure and common focus that it gives is great, and it would be a shame to see it go. I personally really enjoy the pressure of the Chaos meter - and often the game only gets 'too hard' when I've been awful at keeping on eye on my remaining turn time, or if I've rushed it. Correct stats = good things) you'll find its not SO stacked against you. Once you learn how the game is trying to challenge you, and how the meta actually works (and Im loath to call it that, as its pretty starightforward.

The game is not as hard as it first may seem, especially on easy. Just don't rush in blind expecting it to be easy, it's a game of try and retry. It's definitely not impossible like you say. Healing is about what class you take, upgrading your pipe, getting a good gear to take less damage etc. It's a difficult game, but once you get the metagame you improve your chances of wining by a lot. I think you haven't been playing the game enough, because it's not THAT hard. Saying you don't like it and want a more relaxed version, cool, that's actually what the devs are doing with the free adventure mode, but don't say that's it is bad, and that it is a 'problem' in the game.ДЄgain, metagame, learn about the game by playing and you'll realize that you actuallt have enough time to level up. This too is a choice of the developpers for good reasons, people may like it, people may not( a lot apparently), but still, it's a choice and it has a specific purpose, so you can't criticize this(i'm here talking about another LONG post about people whining about the chaos meter.).
